Only applies to applicants who have previously applied to sit for the Louisiana Bar Examination:
If your most recent NCBE Request for Preparation of Character Report is less than two years old:
- Create an account.. (Follow instructions if you have forgotten your user name and password).
- Submit the on-line Bar Examination Application form.
- Download and print the Bar Examination Application form, Authorization and Release Form and Affidavit.
- Sign and date the Bar Examination Application.
- Execute the affidavit and have notarized.
- Execute the Authorization and Release Form and have it notarized
- Mail Bar Examination Application, Affidavit, Release Form and $550 Bar Examination Application fee to the
Louisiana Committee on Bar Admissions

The application period for the February examination is September 1 to December 15. The application period for the July examination is December 1 to May 15. The application must be received (not postmarked) by the Louisiana Committee on Bar Admissions by the deadline date.
- If you have not already done so, contact the MPRE Records Department at (319) 337-1304 or at mpre.score@act.org to release your score to Louisiana.
All other re-applicants:

- Submit the on-line Bar Examination Application form.
- Download and print Bar Examination Application form and Authorization and Release Form.
- Sign and notarize, where applicable, these forms.
- Mail the Bar Examination Application form, the notarized Authorization and Release form and the $550.00 application fee to the

National Conference of Bar Examiners
